Advancing Fire Bug

I'm on turn 8 of Agony of Doom. I'm the Russians and the AI is the Germans. It is the German Advancing Fire segment. The JgdPz V moved this turn and now in the Advancing Fire segment it appears to try to fire and I keep getting a box with the exclamation point that says: "[GE] JgdPz V ID#9 Target outside of HULL facing." I click "OK" and get a mouse arrow but the turn does not continue. I click and get the blue spinning circle. It stops spinning and the same box comes up. It seems stuck in this loop. I cannot save it or do anything with it.

Unfortunately the game never recovered and I was unable to save it as I had to close the when the windows "this program is not responding" message pooped up.
