Getting the error, "Encountered a sharing violation while access C:\Matrix Games\Close Combat Gateway to Caen\CCE.exe.".

GWTC is not previously installed, there is no folder present with CCE.exe. No version of CC running at time of install. Did a reboot just to clear any instances of the install and anything CC related, still same error. Tried changing folder and harddrive, same error. Tried running as administrator and no luck there either.

Installation quits and leaves on the folder and CCE.exe behind.

Steam install works but was preferring not to install Steam.

I suspect some other piece of software is trying to access the CCE.EXE file while the install is in progress. I would suggest temporarily disabling any disk-management or anti-virus software you have installed, just to test and see if these are the problem. If you can run the install with these things off, one of them is probably the culprit.
