Hi I just bought the game a few hours ago before having to travel.

I bought it here but loaded it through Steam, I cannot play the game if I don't have an active internet connection. It tells me, error code 207, there is a problem with your serial number.

Is there a way to play this game without an active internet connection? I cannot download the standard version from matrix because I'm in a hotel with only 300 MB available.

It is when I run in offline mode that I get the error.

sorry then that's a steam installation or upgrade error then, as steam has to be updated every so often for offline mode to still work, not sure either how often it needs to go online to check, so you will have to either try and update it or wait until your back home and DL the store version and install that, for me the game works in both, then again i do login to steam every day to check for updates, but then go offline while i'm on holiday travelling

I think there is probably a something funky going out with my serial number. I came home just now and the same problem is present on my desktop. So I'll just install the Matrix version for the meantime and liaise with the Matrix helpdesk to get the Steam issue sorted.

good luck and as both are the same, at least you will be able to play one while away if it can't be sorted, but there shouldn't be a problem

We have just released the quickfix for this on Steam! (it was of course a Steam-only issue so no update for the Matrix build is necessary).

Thank you for the patch, the Steam version is now working offline.

Hi, all of a sudden steam isn't accepting my serial number...error code 407 I believe. Hasn't happened before. I'm playing online.
