[WAD] MANPADS Going 30 Kts

Noticed that Chinese Army HN-5B MANPADS are moving at 30 knots. I assume they somehow have been given vehicle properties? My other infantry units are moving at 5 knots.

Yeah the assumption Is truck mobile.

I guess I was wondering why MANPADS (by definition foot troops) get trucks while Inf Platoons do not.

Well, all footmobiles have transports as long as it's 'company' sized or above. Platoon had few men only and rarely comes with mobile unless they have been specifically assigned to be motorized.
In that case, don't be baffled when you see the 155mm howitzer battery can moves in 30 knots -- they got transport to haul them, and cannot fire when mobilized.
