Hi. I have a question about radar.

The question is that, in game, if the radar have been checked 'Air Search mod', would the radar 'ONLY' search the aircrafts? Or could they search the surface ships too?

Air search radar aids in detecting enemy aircraft, not enemy ships.

Thanks Alfred![:D]. Then, I dont have to install 'air search radar' in the bombers.

You need an "A/C Radar" which doesn't have the "air search" box checked.
 
Best thing to do is look at the in-game radars carried by bombers.  Then just use one of those for your mod.
 
For future reference, most of the game modders primarily reside in the modders sub-forum.  They don't always look up the main AE forum so any modding questions are usually best directed there if you want to grab their attention.
