Brits multiply in Warsaw

I've seen a British army merging with Prussians in Warsaw.
Should this be possible?
It has gone from a measly 11-unit army to a full-strength 20 in a couple of turns picking up Prussian straggless after I beat the solidly in Berlin.

Yes, this is legal behavior. They are allies.
Now, did you occupy Berlin? Because once Prussia is defeated, all Prussian troops should be removed. A couple of turns later there should not be any Prussian troops on the map. Were there also some Russian troops in Warsaw? They would combine with the British if possible (when Russia is a belligerent). The Russian and Prussian flags are fairly similar.

Historically many Napoleonic battles were fought where the French faced allied armies that consisted of multiple nations:
Waterloo
Dresden
Leipzig
Austerlitz
Friedland
Many Peninsular battles

Yes, I know the French faced multiple nations in those battles and the British had a history of using German troops both in Europe and the colonies (that would be the US).
But I didn't think it could employ Russian troops (got the Prussia/Russian flags mixed).
I do understand that the game mechanics need all units to be part of a single army to do a single battle.
So it is a game-design issue. The flip side is that the Allies can easily field a 20-25-30 strength army by combining troops from several nations.
I would prefer the national armies to be single armies so that Napoleon could use his divide & destroy strategy beating them in succession. Even at Waterloo Napoleon tried to battle the Allies separately, almost succeeding as Blucher arrived almost too late for the party.

The British and Russians, together, invaded Holland during the War of the Second Coalition in 1799 so it wasn't unheard of for Anglo-Russian cooperation.

I believe it is working fine as it is. Having been at war with multiple nations in game, I have fought each country's army and only their own units were in said army. Only on a couple of occasions when I had depleted one nations army did I see allied nations combining their forces with the depleted nation's forces to help protect a capital.
I have yet to see the British mix their troops in with another nations.

Not saying it isn't possible, I just have not seen it. My point was only a small fraction of the battles I fight are mixed countries within the Allied army.
