Just a thought; putting unit experience number on the upper right of the unit tile.

Hi again,
... if the unit experience number was on the top of the tile (upper right) all unit numbers would be visible even in large stacks.
As it stands now the experience is blocked by the lower row of tiles.

Flipping of the counters make it also more readable.

Agreed, +1. Or just make the unit card/counters size smaller so we can see the whole picture/image.

I would also recommend making leader tiles look different from the troops. Perhaps the entire background of the tile could be the color that represents that nation. This way leaders would not look like really powerful cavalry.

I think that is a matter of taste. I prefer them like they are and have no problem figuring out who is who.

We're going to change the Leader Counters in our first update.
The Command Rating will go in the upper right so that we can add the Leader name along the bottom.
It looks better, adds some nice info, and differentiates Generals from the troops units.
