Every time I try to play the game freezes and I get the blue spinning wheel and a pop up saying tiger on the hunt is not responding.
Why?
This is the only game I have issues with on my PC

First have you installed the Day Zero Patch?
http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4030153
Then check all your drivers, graphics, sound etc and update if newer exist.
If it still doesn't work run the DxDiag check. Here is Zakbloods excellent help how to do it:
How to get a DxDiag report file:
1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8 )
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments (zip) rather than pasted into the body of the post

I just downloaded it 3 days ago.
I need a mod already?
Shouldn't I just be able to use the "check for update" icon?

Will see what future holds but I played training scenarios 1 & 2 with no problems, but game is freezing (at different times & turns) on training scenario 3.
I agree that if there is a needed patch that it should be official and show up when you check for updates. I'm a long time gamer and have seen far too many problems with "Beta" type patches. If that patch is needed and is official please make it so with proper version number and that it shows up when checked for. Besides you can't expect new buyers to know about everything that was posted weeks or months before. Make it an official patch.
Edit Added: Just played a regular scenario without freezing so it may have been scenario specific. Either way I still contend that any official patch/version should be so labeled and available when checking for updates.

The Day Zero patch isn't necessary but improves some of the functions in the game like the AI speed and actions. There will be a patch the proper way, the Check for Update icon, very soon.

I occasionally experience freezes, usually on larger scenarios. Most of the time though, the game comes out of it and continues. When it out right crashes, for me, is when I get ahead of myself and click on units or buttons before the program is giving me permission to click.
That's what I have noticed. Word of advice, save every player turn on those larger scenarios.
Thanks,

Nothing needs an update.
Game still freezes on me.
Pretty crappy.
$50 for a game that I can barely play?
Not really happy with this at all.

Heres a better idea. Release a game that will just work straight away.
Novel idea I know, but try it. You might be amazed.

99% of the time it's something on the users pc that is to blame tbh (to be honest) that's why we ask for a report to see if it's the 1% of game error's or the 99% of o/s or driver or something else that doesn't work with the game type error, while everyone is trying to help, we can't do much without a report or more info other than guess.
add the exe of the game to your Anti Virus and firewall program, to make sure check the logs of these to see if it was one if any of them was to blame.
That usually means a 3rd party program, like an Internet security programs, is or could be interfering with the game or update installation.
run the game from a admin account and use full admin permissions.
please make sure all game pre requisite are installed with the game, even if you think or fully know there are already installed, it will only over write, and it may be that you have a older or newer version of these where as the game in question may need a certain version.
please make sure you are running the latest game version and have up to date drivers installed on your pc,
If you have the original version. So you'll need to update it from the Internet.
Please note that you'll only need the last update, as the updates are comprehensive. (not needed with steam)
we always advice that the latest version be the one being commented on / used, as that will have any fixes or post release patches / updates that will improve the game and experience, no game or company or developer is any different, this is how it works, nothing new, until a way is developed that all hardware and software and programs on any given numbers of pc's can be tested pre release, post release patches will always be needed and used...

Okay I would suggest you to download a new Intel Video driver. Your version is over two years old and might cause the problem. The MSI version on their Website is from August 2015 while the one on Intels Website is from December 2015.
