Not an AAR

So I am running a couple games right now, and what's clear (and I should have known from the beginning) is that I just do not have the drive or the desire to run my turns for multiple hours a night (fun!) and then blog about them (not fun!). Besides which, I'm not ever the type of person who will hold off on playing a turn to wait for someone else to chime in. I'd rather keep the fun part (the actual game) rolling as quickly as possible. However, as a newer player I feel like occasionally I need advice.
Unfortunately, I do not know how to do this outside of the format of an AAR, which really truly, as much as I'd like for it to be otherwise, is probably not going to happen with me. At least not in an organized "every turn" sort of way. So I'm turning to you creative types--I'm looking for formatting ideas where I can get community input similar to an AAR, without actually dedicating multiple hours a day to write up turns.
All ideas welcome!

Just give a summary once a week and then when you have a real issue you need help dealing with get more involved. Sometimes at those points the game has to slow down as you learn something new. Everyone does an AAR differently. If you want the community to be involved, you can also just post specific things on the main page or the war room to deal with tactical stuff. AARs help when you want people to be able to look at the course of a game for strategic context and to offer more particular partisan help.

I could do that, but of course, then my opponent(s) could read it without knowing I was soliciting commentary from the community.
I'd be more inclined to do a weekly or bi-weekly AAR
if the combat reported did the aggregating for me. For example, despite being a practicing data scientist, what I do not want to do is have to calculate "plane losses" and the like for an entire week; however, it's a good idea.

Just put up the VP screen once a week. We can do the math! [;)]

I officially disregard this AAR
