I just got a new laptop - Windows 10, and tried to install Commander the Great War. It didn't have a directory selected where it would install. I set up a directory for it in the Matrix folder and installed it but it won't work.

Do I need to get a new install file? I'm using the last major update. It keeps saying I already have the game installed when I don't so I'm confused.

Help.

It just installed perfectly so I don't know what's going on but it's fixed.

did you installed as admin?

if not just follow this guide to a correct windows 10 install, i know you now say it work, so it's just for others or future reference tbh
