Moscow Defense Zone in Chelyabinsk?

I am T25 of GC game and the Moscow DZ (the pink one) showed up in Chelyabinsk as opposed to Moscow area in all my previous games. Is that a new thing, is it WAD?

It's much better out of the way than occupying a hex you may need 3 units in to defend Moscow. I may use it on occasion to assign FZs to but that's about it.

Actually I kinda like it in Moscow area, that way it can command 2 Armies as in late 1941 there are too many soviet Armies and units and not enough Fronts. One can always relocate it to get it out of the way.

It will auto move to the Moscow area on the turn after it arrives

and just out of historical curiosity : were there really two HQs simultaneously in charge of the defense of the capital (Moscow Military District + Moscow Defense Zone) ?

DZ was a front-type HQ, commanding at least two armies in defense of Moscow. MD was an area command more related to administrative stuff like forming/training new units.
