William have some maps with coordinates around the corners.

But the are added to the map itself. Can the coordinated added to the visible outline of the visible area. same way as the coordinates of a spreadsheet. As a user preference. [Off/Hex/Km/Miles]

That would require clean maps and a way to dynamically place the grid or hex lines and any text. Plus move, zoom and rotate those new layers. Definitely something we can look at after Southern Storm as we evaluate new graphics engine capabilities. For now it's all on the map. [8D]
