This mod eliminates the screeching, annoying, or drawn out sounds in the game and replaces them with subtle sounds that make playing a long campaign more enjoyable. Artillery and bombs sound more distant instead of in your face. Many sounds are shortened or softened. Just back up and replace the matching files in your WITE/Dat/Sound folder with these.

Hi. I hope you can help, I want to mod the sound of the battles to last as long as the message about
the combat which I have set at four. I read about your mod and wanted to know if this is possible,
as the sound cuts out while the battle is still going on.[:)]

After an additional 50+ hours of play I have further refined and adjusted these sounds - replaced the link above with Version 2.0.
