Thank you to everyone who has applied so far the Strategic Command Beta Test, there is obviously a lot of
enthusiasm for this title!

We have selected the initial group of testers and are planning on starting testing by the end of this week.

If you are not part of the first test group please don't 'despair'. As some of you know we generally expand
the test group throughout the beta phase and we'll certainly be doing this for Strategic Command.
So, if you have not been 'called' now you may well receive an invite later.

Thanks again to everyone who applied and for the show of support, its much appreciated.

I applied a few days ago. I really hope get to play the beta.

I received an email today stating I was accepted for the beta and when I click the link it says I do not have access. There is also no code in the section "Your personal serial code for Strategic Command beta is"--it is blank.
The email definitely says I have been accepted for strategic command beta:
" Dear jtbb64 ,

Hello and welcome to the beta test for Strategic Command" is how the email begins.
Any help appreciated.

I was able to download and install the beta but I can't access the beta forum. My username on the Matrix forums is bbmike. I noticed in my profile it now says bbmike_Wargamer. [&:] Not sure what is going on.

Similar thing happened to me way back in the beginning when I became part of the design team for Combined Arms: World War II (formerly Battlefields!). My username was James D Burns, but someone changed it to Jim D Burns when they were setting up access for me to get into the dev forums.

It stuck after I left the project, never did find out what happened to my old account. It was annoying but I didn't have years/decades of posts get disappeared at the time so I never made a fuss.

Same thing here. I was once SeaMonkey and now James Taylor. It happened after I DLed OoB WW2.

You'll always be Sea Monkey to some of us......er....James.
I'm waiting for them to change my old name to blizzard. [:D]

My real account is still there. I hate to lose it, I've been a member since 5/13/2007. [:(]
Either way, I still can't log into the beta forum. [X(]

Hello all

We have had a large amount of feedback from the initial beta test group which we are still reviewing

As a consequence we have not yet decided on the make up of the next test group.

Our current plan is to decide (and add) the next test group around the end of this month, start of the next.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and I hope this does not cause too much disappointment
