I cannot get the above mentioned scenario to work and it seems that it's the only one which is giving me trouble, I haven't had any problems with either launching or playing any of the other scenarios available in my game installation. I am using the latest 2015.027 version, Win8, I bought the game here last autumn and installed that into a custom directory than fiddled with some custom databases to run some of the community scenarios like operation "Corporate" available at HarpGamer site.

GetAnnex errors on the stock commondb scenarios of which the Westpac training scenario is one, usually means you don't have a DB loaded that is compatible with the scenario.

Give the latest HCDB a try.

You'll probably get quicker responses at harpgamer too. We wander by here on occasion but as you can see by response time, only on occasion.

Indeed the issue was database related what I had found when I was trying to get the Stennis custom scenario installed and working; I exchanged the files and played the tutorial walk-through scenario last Sunday.I extracted the crash report file from the main game folder, but disposed of that a few days ago as it wasn't needed anymore.Thank you
