What version are you at? Did you try updating your install with the update button in the launch menu?
If your at latest version it might be a problem with writing files on your system.
I remember with the Community Project you had the same problem with some of your files being ReadOnly. If this would have happened to the files inside the metadata directory this would cause the bug you just see since the game would not be able to overwrite these protected files.
In fact could you also tell me if there is anything special about your Windows system? or any specific firewall or anti-virus software running? and maybe get me a diagdx file as well.
How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:
1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
I would like to get to the bottom of this, but I am getting quite sure it might be specific to your computer setup.
Best wishes,
Vic

Hi,
Could you try deleting the contents of your metadata directory and retrying?
Also you could check properties of the metadata directoy and check if it is not set to readonly?
best wishes,
Vic
