Just wondering if it's technically possible* to add more planet types.

*I imagine if it is, that it'd be quite a bit of work but that's a bridge I'll cross if I get to it.

I don't think you can add new planet types as in for example a sulphuric volcanic, a crusted ocean (like Europa), or perhaps a cavernous asteroid or something, but what you can do is create (unlimited, I think?) new graphics for each current planet type, as well as a bunch of overlays for clouds.

So a gas giant can have like 500 of your own custom images, so that it's very hard to find two planets that look the same when playing.
