Hi all

Looking for Soviet bases for the Baltic region , For example 15th Air Army bases in the Baltic but also the Twice Red Banner Baltic Fleet (BF) bases. Anyone know if someone has crreated these already, Have checked around but cant find anything.

Did you check in imports...also for years?

I have checked the Imports, Cant find any either in CWDB or DB3000 (looking for whole cold war period) . The bases in question would be for example Tapa, Estonian SSR, Pyarnu, Estonian SSR, Lielvarde, Latvian SSR. Either VVS or PVO bases manly in the Baltic and kaliningrad area.

Do you have a list of what you need? I am willing to help you create them if you have a list of bases.

Oh and are you looking for them as single airfields or as proper multi unit ones?

I have spent the last few days searching the net to find the units and then the air bases. Have started on a list but it needs a lot of tweaking.
Got sidetracked trying to find out how the soviets did the local air def. Gun placements around airfields and so on.

I have started adding a few bases, using google earth and KML transfer tool. Slow process

Ultimately I am looking to get every airfield and naval base in Northern Europe done

Have you looked in our existing imports? We have 1000's in there. You might want to look at the CENTFRONT one's.

You might find these hand, its a good chunk of Western European airfields, some neutral and a smattering of Warsaw Pact ones.

Have checked there as well, It has one for most of the SAM rings for the Baltic/Kaliningrad area but no airfields.

This is the organization of the Baltic Fleet (including the Naval Aviation) at the end of 80 years. For the position of air bases, I suggest you use a set of "single unit airfield in 1985," which is in the database.

Created a List and collected all bases in one zip with Excel doc

Kinda hard with these two they are educated guesses really as both have been redeveloped

These are all for the DB3000 not the CW DB. i think I have a quick way to convert these BTW

The easy switch for the CWDB doesnt work, you need to create each airfield from scratch in the DB
