Two interface questions...

I am new to the game, so please forgive two newbie interface questions:

1. Is there an ability to select ALL units in a hex quickly?
I see a lot of *requests* for this one, and I see a patch has been issued recently with "keyboard shortcuts". But I've been unable to find the list of those shortcuts and am wondering if this is one of them? Honestly, this feels like "urgent need #1" if not already implemented... the process of selecting units is - at best - tedious as currently described in the manual. But perhaps I am missing an easier way?

2. How do I display the TOTAL MOVEMENT range of a unit (or stack of units)?
I see clearly how to display the FIRE range, but what is missing for me is the MOVEMENT range. When I select a unit, all I see are the available surrounding hexes I can move into. And when the border turns red, I know it is my last move. But what I am missing is the TOTAL range available to me at the outset, so I can plan ahead... rather than stumbling through one hex at a time, wondering how far I can go with that unit (or stack). How do I display this? Seems like a pretty fundamental GUI feature for hex games...

Thanks!

1. No.

2. You can't.

Basically, infantry has 4 MF (+2 if moving with a leader, 1 or 2 less if carrying heavy SW). Most terrain types cost 1 MF, woods and buildings cost 2 MF, climbing to a higher elevation costs +1 MF per elevation and moving along a road for the entire Movement Segment provides a extra hex bonus.

2a. Download "TOTH Terrain & Portage V1.4.zip" which is in an attachment in a post here...

All Forums >> [New Releases from Matrix Games] >> Tigers on the Hunt >> Mods and Scenarios >> Submitted Play)

2b. Then add up the hexes you want to cross.

The game mostly uses the Movement costs of ASL.
