Can TO&E graphics folder location be modded?

Is there a setting in the editor that determines what folder the graphics for TO&E units are taken from? Or how does a scenario know where to look for the choices of graphics for the TO&E editor? Or is it hardcoded to always look in the "Newdawnmodgraphics" folder under the graphics directory.
Thanks.

You can mod it. It's done in the setngs part of the editor.
There is a place there that allows you to modify where graphics come from in general, that is the place to use. It's been a while since I tried it, so I cannot remember exactly where, but I did it for my unpublish unfinished 2nd Civil War scenario...

I would like to learn anything I can about that powerful yet mysterious editor.
Unfortunately I am not all that smart so it is taking years of trial and error and trial and error...
I spend more time in this game than any other.

Hi Dan, thanks to ernieschwitz I found it. If you click on the button he mentions in his second reply and then type in the name of the directory within the graphics directory that contains a folder named "natocounters" it will pull the nato counter graphics from that directory.
EDIT: So for example I have a directory under the AT "graphics" directory called GC Graphics. Within the GC Graphics directory there is a folder called "natocounters". So when I click the button ernieschwitz refers to I just type in "GC Graphics" in the dialog box that pops up and click OK. The scenario will now draw from the "natocounters" directory in that folder.

Thanks Gary, ernieschwitz;
I won't even tell you what I was trying to do and it is that easy!
Like they say over at the farm, "Cut off my finger and call me Betty!"
I love the enhanced resources/officers mod and the huge "Bomburmod"
SFT choices. I must have NATO and I really like Gary's graphix.
I have been trying to mix them together with disappointing results
that don't fly very much too good.

BTW: I'm working on a new set of NATO counters. The counters I'm working on aren't too much different from the standard except that they are two pixels wider. I like the symbols to take up as much counter space as possible. Sort of anal that way I guess. [:D]
On the left is stock and the right is mine.

In your unit mod I suggest that you delete the regime icon in the upper left. In my personal mods I’ve deleted them and it gives a cleaner, uncluttered, unit icon. In most games they don’t add any value . . . everybody knows to whom the brown, blue, red and gray units belong.
