Can this be accomodated in SC WW II ?

When I was making flag mods for Assault on Democracy I decided to experiment with using national flags as unit symbols.

I really liked the way it looked on the strategic map, but wasn't so keen on the way it looked when you zoomed in.

I'm not squeamish about this sort of thing, and I like my bad guys looking evil, but this was a little too evil.

To put it another way, the more conventional unit symbols were a little bit on the prosaic side, which is fine and even preferable when you're zoomed in, but when you're zoomed out you need something more dramatic.

The first three screenshots are the unreleased mod, the last three are the conventional version that I'm pretty sure I posted in the Battlefront repository.

National flags look better as symbols on the zoomed out strategic map, but they don't look right to me on the zoomed in maps.

Would it be possible to have the zoomed out strategic map invoke a different set of symbols from the zoomed in maps?

The official vanilla release could continue to use the same set of symbols for both zoomed in and zoomed out so you wouldn't have to create any new artwork, but mods might be able to use different symbols depending on the level.

Thanks for the post, I can say that it might be possible but at the same time just being honest here that this would be at the very bottom of my list at the moment with everything that still needs to be completed.
