Pick-Up Game vs. Herbie

Post by John 3rd »

Greetings All.

With picking Dan's game back up I am running three campaigns and it is not sustainable.

Herbie and I have agreed to transition our "Letters from the Prime Minister" from me to another opponent. It is a CRAZY match with no house rules and is pure VANILLA Scenario One. His AAR has a huge following so I'd like someone both he and I can agree on. We're in early July 1942 and there have been very few Capital ships losses on the Japanese side.

I can do an update and answer any and all questions. Respond here or PM me.

Thanks!

I've always been rather fond of losing the war as Japan.

I've had a time away from the game but feel ready to come back.

Let me know if you need references.

Best

Faber

The Penguin would be an awfully good pick-up!

The Penguin is good. The Penguin is wise.

I was really surprised by John's withdrawal. It's fun watching him do his thing, and to also see Herbie write a narrative about it.

But if the Penguin steps in, what a fortuitous passing of the baton.

Wrote Fabertong back and now have his email. Been a crazy couple of days at the store where I have had little time for turns. This is the primary reason for suspending/dropping one of the matches. HATE it but have to do what I have to do.

Did Herbie ever find another player? Professional curiosity as his Allied opponent in a different game.
Playing at war is a far better vocation than making people fight in them.
