some popups during combat disappear too quickly

[I amended the title to be more generic, as the problem is broader than just naval combats]
During Allied naval attacks on German subs, there is at least one popup - about the sub diving - and perhaps more than I can't read, that appear and disappear almost instantly.

Agreed gwgardner...to this end, the map really needs to be centered when the AI is making attacks or action appears. I have had several instances of interceptions and naval interceptions where the screen does not show the visible action.

I agree, when the allies bombers are attacking stuff in France, many times I can only see the unit attacked at the edge of the screen and when that happens it doesn't show the damage.

I too have noticed that the camera will center on combats intermittently. Sometimes it does it and others times not so much.

Are you playing with the Quick Animation setting enabled? If so then this would explain the quicker popups as they are tied into that setting.

I've made a note to de-couple the speed of the popups from the Quick Animation and ideally let this have its own speed setting.
