Option to Toggle Menu on/off

I am really not enjoying the new interface. While attacking France I can only just barely view the active battlefield without all the obstructive menus in the way. It becomes even more frustrating once I finally place the map in a way that I can see what I am trying to do, but with each air attack I make, the screen re-centers and I find myself trying to move the map five times to get the obstructions out of the way so I can see what I am doing. I would really like the option to lock the menus on/off or see them permanently aligned on the side/bottom and not overlay the map (like SC2) as an option. The obstructive nature of the menu's is really frustrating. Considering that I only use the mini-map for 99% of the turn, I do not see why the additional menus have to be in the way 100% of the time.

I do know since resolution setting is set by default in the game without options to pick yet. I attempted to post screenshot but my profile says I am not allowed to post links (required to host image)...

It is forced in full screen mode for this release. What is your Windows resolution?

I use the same resolution crispy and I do not have any menu issues. Most of my screen is the gameplay map.

Most of my screen is game play map as well. The issue for me is the screen constantly re-centering after I use my aircraft. My aircraft are naturally in the back, so when the game re-centers it is constantly pushing the menu right into my direct line of game play. Given the directional nature of the attack on France maybe the issue will not be as pronounced when attacking USSR, but even still I am not a fan of menu's over the actual map. I understand this may be just me and it is in no way a game breaker (not even for me), I just personally find it frustrating. - FYI this is more beta feedback then complaining.

It is possible to change it from full screen, as by going to the Settings and clicking in the Video Mode box.
It is however not an exact science as you can't see what you're changing it too, and so it might be best to leave it as it comes for now, especially as I can't get it back to full screen that way!

Thanks for the feedback and I'll see if I can adjust the centering to take into account that the bottom 2 hexes are partially obstructed by the menus. I suspect that if I have the game engine *think* that the map is a few hexes shorter in height the centering will be more intuitive for the situations you've described above.
Beyond that it is a bit tricky because the new overlay interface does actually allow more of the map to be seen versus SC2 since the previous interface had the map inside a smaller box within the interface panels, but the catch is despite that, it now feels like we are now partially obstructing map... which we are.

You could make more use of the lower menu, matter in fact there is more than enough room on the lower menu bar to take all other information which are spreaded all around the four edges of the map.
This would solve the scrolling problem, too.
