I've seen in a couple of scenarios, if I'm using 5x time compression, I'll see in the message log that an event message fired, but I never get the pop up message.

Is there a way to resolve this and/or "re-fire" the message so I can view it?

No but you can see them but opening up a separate message window.

In general if a scenario has these make sure the popup is turned on. If this is set to on and you're still not seeing it please to post a .sav and let us know what compression you were running it at.
