FTP 1 Error

I am getting this error when trying to update the game:
File 1: An error occurred while trying to open an FTP file.[/color]
I tried several times with no luck.

The goal here is to install the two new DLC's, "Wolves" and "Oath"
I am guessing the new version of the Field of Glory base game has to be updated first to get to the point where the DLC's can be unlocked. Maybe I am way off here

Version 1.01 is the old version.
You can't upgrade that version to the new version which is using a new game engine.

I see those instructions
The FoG game purchased was supposed to be the new one. It was bought on the day of release right from the advertisement on the Matrix home page. Seems I was somehow linked to the older version.
