Resort Bases on Colonized Worlds

Very quick Q:

Do resort bases still function normally (i.e. make money) attached to colonized planets? I've always assumed yes, but I'd just want to verify. (Maybe it's no longer a nice resort location after all the people come and pollute it...)

I have built one on my home planet early in my current game.
And it was a big contributor to my income in the early stages of my game.

So based on that I would say the answer is yes.

I would have thought the colony itself would act as the resort base, just as a colony acts as a mining base. I know I get tourists going to my home colony which has a scenery bonus, and there's no resort base there, although I can't be completely sure in that case whether the colony or the spaceport is getting the tourists.
