In my latest game as soon as I took Brussels the BEF cut bait and ran. They didn't even experience combat.

Maybe they shouldn't bail so quickly? How about if Amiens and Lille fall?

If they get outta dodge before this then French morale should collapse.

I've found the AI does a pretty good job deciding whether it's better to cut and run or stay and fight. It's gone both ways in my many games. In fact my last game I wanted them to leave and they stayed to fight. Game before that I was mad because they made it back to England before I could cut them off and annihilate them. It's pretty cool.
