Does the game support Win XP?
If the answer is yes, when I tried to launch the game in an old computer with XP service pack 2, P IV 2,8 GHz,1,5 Gb Ram,Ati Radeon 9600 256 Mb, I got the following error
Can't find the entry point to process FlusProcessWriteBuffers in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll
If the game isn't meant to be played in Win XP then disregard this post.

not saying it won't work either, just it may or may not be fully supported or compatible, i have no insider knowledge just a straight copy paste from manual only. so could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first or last time either tbh [;)]

If that machine is connected to the Internet at least get it to Vista. Even with a decent hardware firewall that's a security bomb waiting to explode. Surfing the Internet is especially not safe with XP.

No it's not connected to internet, I even uninstalled Norton no need for an anti-virus. It's a 2003 pc I have in my mother in law house in her village, but is able to run all other SC titles with no problem hence I tried to run SC3

Unfortunately XP will have some issues with SC3 so it is not officially supported.
