Keep getting this while trying to log into the server. Any idea what this is? My internet connection is good and nothing has changed with my log in.

Since it happens with other games as well (tm.asp?m=4125834), it might be a server issue.

Thanks Zakblood. I am getting the same error 99 if try log into WITE too. But its not clear what this error means... could only find this thread as a mention

try manually adding your user name and password just in case, the copy paste may have took in another letter or something

it's working on mine, then again i don't play online, and i have a beta release so it gives me a message about a new version is out before it will let me login and fully check, as i'm on a later version anyway, i don't want it do downgrade my version but yes for me it's working, so double check firewall settings have permissions and have been given, patch status and also user name and password is correct and retry

as of yet, no other user reporting any errors, steam of forums i'm sorry to say, so no problems at this end, that's not to say you don't have an issue at your's or a local loop issue etc[:(]

After much digging about got this to work when I used my 4G phone as a hub giving a few clues that this 99 error could be about timing out the connection. I've noticed recently a few more instances of the ERR connection timeout in windows 10, but not enough to worry me until now. I made a few changing to the DNS server of my wifi connection and this works now. Hopefully this helps if somebody else gets this vague error
