Soviet +1 bonus

The optional Soviet +1 game setting would seem to create an unstoppable Soviet '43 -45' surge as nearly all wholehearted attacks would succeed.

Doesn't the attack bonus stop after blizzard?

Back in the day, the +1 bonus was hard coded and stopped after blizzard. (And it was also compensated by increase loses for the soviet side upon attack).
It is not the case anymore ?

pretty sure it only lasts a limited amount of time- most dont play with it anymore.

The +1 attack last to the end of the blizzard (non random weather so end of Feb).
