I have ran across the CAMCo. I know it was destroyed and moved several times. Was this a real manufacturing company or just in name? I have thought about adding it, but I see no one else has added it. So I am wondering about this company.
Thanks

I guess the factory is in RHS mod, which places it on the Burmese-Chinese border.

I have read that CAMCo merely assembled 'aircraft kits' and crated planes fabricated in the US and shipped to CBI, and did aircraft repair and maintenance work for the Chinese airforce and later also for the AVG. Not sure if this warrants inclusion as an aircraft factory, a "CAMCo base force" with some AV support to beef-up Chinese regular base forces might be sufficient?

And if it were included as an aircraft factory, it would need to be locked in to a low production rate of one of the very obsolete aircraft provided by the US. In other words, it wouldn't be worth having, much easier to simulate it with the monthly replacement rates. Say a replacement rate of 2-5 to simulate repair of damaged aircraft? And I'm guessing that was already provided for in the stock scenarios.
CAMCo base force...maybe, but I'm not sold on the idea. And in truth, it probably is already calculated into the stock scenarios in some way.

The CAMCO factory was at Loiwing on the border of China-Burma.
On-map factory: Rangoon lost, factory production should cease. It only does so if Loiwing hex is occupied by Japanese.
Off-map production: Rangoon is lost, the pool still produces. Loiwing is lost, the pool still produces. It should work like Burma Road - once a base on the Road is occupied by Japs, the pool stops to give aircraft.
