Ive been reading this board for a while now...

Ive also read all the info for the game.

Ive been wanting a stratigic game based on battles/operations for a while now.

Is this a brand new engine that will power a new series and the korsun pocket is simply the battle they choose to do?

Or is this just a single one time effort?

I think this engine could be used over and over and over again.

Release this game for $50....then come out with "expansions" like kursk, smolensk 41, moscow, fj's in crete (id love to see that one.....) and on and on and on

This would make an excellent engine and expansion packs could be released for $20-25 every 6 months or so.

This may be what is going to happen already...if so sorry for the post.

Korsun Pocket is the second game in a series. he first is called The Ardennes Offensive 2 ("TAO2")

This can be downloaded from the web site of the producer - SSG

www.ssg.com.au

It runs on WIN 98 but not on WIN XP.

Korsun Pocket will run on both.

Its a great game and I recommend it.

I spose the success of KP will dictate if further battles will be released... but as was stated earlier, this is the 2nd in the series.. so I hope the plans are for further releases down the track..

Suggestions for battles? :) Wouldnt it be great to have all of the old Battlefront games (anyone remember those ones from SSG) in this format..

I´d love to see those oldies redone with a new engine. Other examples would be the v4v-series by Three-Sixty or Fire Brigade. Especially the v4v-titles seem to be similar to TAO2 and obviously Korsun Pocket, only older and not so "polished".
