1.7.1125.8, Stock 1 scenario vs Allied AI.
So, I wondered where did Soviet CA Kalinin go when all the rest of the fleet died valiantly.
Then I saw some out-of-place sign when reconning Krasnoyarsk and had this combat report ;) Apparently the cowardly ship is transportable by rail

This might be a byproduct of AI being able to teleport stuff around the map. Yet, some locations should be excluded. Might be a byproduct of previous versions too, it is a long game. Had Krasnoyarsk had a port at some point in the past? My older version of WITP:AE is 1124, and I am sure that all Soviet battles started under that or later versions, and there is no port there in all of them.
Soviets still own some proper ports in the Pacific.

This seems like a prompt for one of those "In Soviet Russia..." jokes.

Or the Ruskies got a hold of the Philadelphia Experiment... [:D]

It will be interesting to see if it jumps anywhere else (if you don't sink it first!).

This is really the secret Soviet plan to avoid another Tsushima debacle. [:D]

You see that river running north out of Lake Baikal all the way to the Arctic Ocean? Apparently there was an intention to make it seasonally navigable but lack of time to do the coding meant it was left out of the Stock game. The river that flows past Krasnoyarsk has the same shade of blue, meaning the waters are navigable, but the river goes off-map so there may have been intentions to extend the map in that area too.

My guess is the AI just teleported it to the "safest" navigable Russian waters it could find. Thanks to your eagle eye, the waters were not safe enough!
