Hello,
What version of PanzerIV Ausf.F is used in the game (scenario Third Kharkov: Pz.Div. "Das Reich" and "LAH")?
Is it the PanzerIV Ausf.F1 or the PanzerIV Ausf.F2 ?
According to the image, the tank possesses a long gun ,so it seems to be a PanzerIV Ausf.F2.
But the tank is not good against armoured vehicles and better against infantry, so it seems to be a PanzerIV Ausf.F1 with a short gun!
All this is confusing.

Here are the various versions found in PanzerCorps :
Why not add both versions (F1 and F2) in the game (the models 3d already exists) ?

Since it is available in 1941 it must be F1 with a F2 icon. F2 is not available because you get G in 1942.
However, the player may be interested in a cheaper tank with the long gun. By 1942 you will be short of replacements.

So, it should be added to the list of bugs and corrections for the next patch :
- Nato symbols for rocket launchers
- ElitePzGrenadier (no fuel)
- Panzerwerfer 42 (limited movement)
- Soviet Combat and Construction Engineers (values of combat and defence)
- PanzerIVF (F1 with F2 icon)

Hi terminator,
as you can see i already reacted to the other issues. I think we could have all those IVF models in 1.08 with the right 3d meshes.
And many thanks for you contribution! Its those small things that eat up a lot of time to find so this is helping us a lot!
Regards,

Hi Ronald,
We need one new 3d mesh, Pz IV F1 with that box behind the turret like all late Pz IV versions but the short gun.
Pz IVF2 and G could have the same image, the one currently used by Pz IV G and H.
Pz IVH and J could both have the current Pz IVJ image, with extra armor (Schurzen) on the turret.
Pz IV from the elite Panzergrenadier force needs Schurzen too.
That would make a perfect tank force in 1941 and onwards.

Hi Marechal,
this is in principle what you ask for in private many times and v1.08 should make this come true. [:)]
Thanks for your constant input, too.
