COREd War in the East contains new imagery for Gary Grigsby's War in the East.

Compliant with: 1.09.1 public beta
Contains: full model imagery for all nations: aircraft, tanks, guns, troops etcetera,. New in 1.2 is 1.09.01 compliancy as well as partials for Hungarian and Russian leader images.

Thanks Denniss! In the meantime I got whitelisted, so I'm finally able to post them myself, and have updated the first post accordingly.

New version is up - see the first post for the link! I'd planned to do an Axis-update (i.e. include imagery for all the Axis minors), but instead I went a bit overboard and ended up doing them all. [:D]

please verify the installer is working as intended - it installed the file into dat\art instead of dat\art\photo on my WinXP test VM.

Oops, my bad... I've changed the installer script and uploaded a corrected file. In the same go switched the flag of GP1494 to Hungarian (as it was marked as Romanian by mistake).

Version 1.1 is up! It contains full leader imagery for Germany, Finland, Italy, Romania and Slovakia (with the exception of a few very, very camera-shy generals - though less than in the original game). Enjoy!

Same here... If it weren't for the fact they opted for a blurry filter I probably wouldn't even have bothered to make my own set. And it's not that the imagery depicted is poor or anything - bar the odd mistake or two the overall quality in terms of research is surprisingly good. Blurring the end result negated those efforts to some degree IMHO.

Ok - and thanks again for the work - just been browsing them in my turn.

Those pictures are very nice. I have a question: why do you include in the mod files named like this: "LD0635_.bmp"? They are not used by the game.

Easy - those are just alternates/backup files that I decided against use. So LD0635_.bmp is an alternate for LD0635.bmp (but not actively used). I could swipe them from the line-up, but decided to include them for completeness sake (i.e. was lazy enough to keep them in rather than do some housecleaning).
