I assume you are looking for the book about the German fighter ace, Eric Hartmann. I just happen to have a copy and the ISBN is 0-8306-8189-2. It was published by TAB/AERO Books. Hope this helps. :)

There is a section in it from old German manuals showing drawings of Russian aircraft with vulnerable equipment locations, i.e. weapons and fuel, also. Not that I'm good enough to actually hit those places, but it's fun to try!

then lets start playing IL2 again:) i found an old 50ties era army manual at my grandfathers house. Quite hillarious what the say to do when an A-bomb drops at 2000meters, drop facdown.

when in a ditch you can get a couple of hundred meters closer.


and if you are in a trench with a underground dugout you will survive 200meters!!

Read the end of that book. Hartman was totally screwed by the
USSR. They framed his ***. Good thing he got his wife out of town.
