Would Matrix possibly offer a boxed upgrade of Strategic Command WWII War in Europe at some date after release?
I love the boxed upgrades that I have purchased for my other Matrix games.

I was not aware that SC3 will not have a boxed version in the first release.
Will there be just a digital download option? If so why. I would like to buy a boxed copy too.

I'd prefer a boxed edition as well.

There will definitely be a physical version and the option to upgrade though upgrading later is more expensive than doing it at the time you buy.
