I'm the kind of guy that likes to be surrounded by all kinds of characters. Otherwise, I'd feel lonely in this vast expanse of space, and having every character look like a cleft-chinned old guy who looks like he's tired of living always bothered me. So I decided to put this mod together, which adds a variety of unique characters.

This mod contains mostly female portraits cause I'm a perv, and decent male characters are hard to find okay? Don't judge me.


Currently 1,271 (mostly) unique characters!

Admirals: 193
Diplomats: 131
Generals: 178
Governors: 157
Leaders: 79
Pirates Leaders: 67
Scientists: 124
Ship Captains: 201
Spies: 141

The character's classes were chosen based on how they look for the most part e.g. most governors and diplomats are in suits
scientists are in lab coats pirates dress like pirates etc. (ship captains are kind of a mixed bag though...)

This was something I made for myself, and never really intended to release it, so there may be varying degrees of quality, but they are mostly good I promise!

Installation:

1. If you want to use just this mod, then extract the Anime mod folder to the customization folder, and switch the theme to the Anime mod.

2. If you want to use this, and other mods together, then extract just the characters and images folders to the mod you want to use this with.



Minor notes:

1. There are some duplicates between leaders and governors, because I always played as a monarchy, and new leaders almost never appeared, and they usually got replaced by governors anyway. The duplicates are kept to a minimum though, so they're still mostly unique, so don't worry be happy!

1b. There are also duplicates between pirate leaders and admirals, just cause some of the admirals make for good pirates, and finding decent looking pirates is surprisingly hard.

2. Character names are mostly true to the character, but I didn't know the names of some of the characters so I decided to just give them new mildly appropriate names instead. If you know the real names of these characters and care enough to demand I change them, then don't hesitate to let me know.

3. Though it should be quite obvious, I did not make any of the art myself. All rights belong to their respective owners.

Well, I like the pictures, but I haven't had DW installed for awhile (trying out some new games and needed the space).
I have looked through the pictures and they look great. I would have no problem using them (I'm getting an itch so maybe soon).

Not really. 2,000 characters might be a good stopping point but even then I'd probably keep going if people wanted me to.
I figured I'd keep going until I either got bored or ran out of material, whichever comes first.

How many races is this for? Humans and maybe Securans? I'm trying to wrap my head around cute Dahyuts with large knockers and it....just....does....not....compute.....

It's for humans only currently. I never thought of an anime version for the other races, as it seemed pretty difficult finding images that matched with them. Though I suppose an anime version of the Dhayut could look like this

Just do a google search for "anime insects". LOL. Who would have imagined there would be so many? It might not be so hard to get "anime rodents" and "anime bears" and god knows what else! The supply of "anime cats" and "anime dogs" is essentially limitless.

I love mods that add characters to the game. I did find tho that a bunch of the female scientists have wrong picture file extensions so their pictures don't show up in game.
