Since most squadrons split in 3, i wonder if a divisional infantry unit with only air support could not work and split in 3 when necessary.


What foreseen problem could happen using this kind of unit with only air support?

I don't think there would be a problem. I had some split Chinese LCUs that got bruised badly in some battles and what was left of them were support squads. Everything else got zeroed - guns, infantry etc.. I planned to use them as pure hospital units behind the lines to help cure the proper infantry units. Of course, then I restarted the game, and... I guess you know the rest.

It would probably have less construction capability if i put some engineers there but that might not be a bad thing.

Now appears an issue is the icon symbol, there is an option in editor for symbol and put a number there, anyone has a symbol list vs numbers?
