Other than.....
* Entire scenarios
* Unit icons
* Custom map layers
* Game sounds and music
* Platform editing
What else do you want to mod?

Earth Texture? Can use some favorite satellite views from different map websites. Not just the overlay for a small patch of area.

Let me guess: it's hard-coded.
Well I prefer more realism then, on the second though.

Game update does tweaking the gameplay, thus more realism, and you developers did it.
Apologize for the misunderstanding.
As for paying for the mod including Earth maps, I am not sure, I realized it is actually a huge project to be done with.

although there is one part of me that wonders if this could be transformed into a science fiction style war game too.
The database and game mechanics are best suited for 20th and 21st century warfare. That's the heart of the sim. If the weapon system is not within reach of today's technology it will probably not enter the database. So, time travel is out for example. That's not to say that some of the contributors here might not participate in such travel during the weekend over an adult bev or two. I know I do. I wouldn't think of modding the game at this point other than what has been mentioned. I am having a hard enough time with those s-400 battalions. Freakin beasts.

S-400s -> Man, you said it! Those things, especially when surrounded by some small friends, are true freakin' beasts.

Place a few in the Crimea and attack them from Balchik in Bulgaria (USAF; just out of range). Nice way to practice since you can form up outside the max range. So far the sequence for me is to 1. Detect. 2. Jam. 3. Saturate (MALD) 4. Hit with stand off missiles. Very expensive in terms of the "money" expended to neutralize the SAM battalion. They go down fighting.

This might interest, Baloogan's Tiger Rifle scenario with Youtube video about how to deal with S-400. It is situated in Crimea after Russian occupation.

Hi. Thanks for pointing that out. I saw that video when I first started and without narration I could not follow it. Six weeks later I can - well mostly. The approach used, like mine, is very "costly" as in terms of ordinance. Right now I am trying to knock out a battalion as efficiently as possible. Kinda like a puzzle. Checkmate in X number of moves etc..

@Sunburn and @mikmyk - from the perspective of someone new here to this forum, you come off as incredibly unprofessional. Your comments are snarky, sarcastic and belligerent. If this is your real job, you should never ever break your demeanor.
