Hello. This is alpha draft of whatif custom Belorussian OOB\TOE.

What if Batjka (Lukashenko) will not nullify his army and three soviet armies of BelVO (Belorussian Mil District) will slightly transformed to Corps, and divisions will be transformed to brigades with very modern organization (6 combat BN's, 4 coys in BN)???

So here we see mighty BelVO of soviet era at max! Three tank corps! Zillion of T-72. Strong arty. Serious Airforces.

What to do?
Recreate 103 VDD (Airborne division).
Redesign 38 ODShBR (Ind Air-Assault Brigade).
Redesign 5 OBrSpn (Ind SF Brigade).
Add 2-3 ODShB (Ind Air-Assault Bns for Armies/Corps).
Transform GHQ reserve formation to experimental design of 5 OAK (Ind Army Corps) that was served as testbed for soviet OMG (Operational Maneuver Group) of 80's-90's.

In Soviet Era, the Soviet Army units in Belarus and Ukraine SSR are mostly CADRE units, which composed of 15-30% personnel in peace time.
With the fallen of USSR, the mobilization system fell down too, and all these cadre divisions soon became scarecrows: in peace time the army is just a set of skeleton, (for example, the Kazakh Army is now composing of 43 brigade-sized units and only 20000 personnel, that's less than 500 personnel for each brigade) and in war time, the army will be filled up with inexperienced commanders and under-trained, under-manned, under-equipped and under-morale conscripts.
In December 1994 these kind of units went into the vicinity of Grozny, and we all know what happened then.

All these CIS countries did not "reduce" their divisions to brigades, as the divisions were defacto "regiments/battalions combat teams with divisional headquarters".

Yes, Soviet forces of this period were divided into 4 readiness categories;
Category A, is a combat ready unit at 100%, for example all Divisions outside the USSR and all Airborne Divisions are cat A
Category B, between 50-75% with modern equipment
Category C, less than 50%, with old equipment
Category D has less than 5%, with the oldest equipment
