This is not a major problem, but I wanted to make you guys aware for us guys who like the STYLIZED icons.

After the SR5 update, I went to adjust my game settings. I clicked the drop-down between the two icon options and chose "Sylized", but nothing happened. I had to exit the game and then re-enter for the icons to change to the correct setting. I don't remember having to do that before, but maybe I did.

There may be an issue with a missing icon file.

Can you try manually copying the file "hosted_units.png" from the folder \Symbols\NTDS to the folder \Symbols\Stylized, restarting Command and trying this again ?

I did what you asked and nothing changed. The hosted_units.png icon was in both folders. You can see below the screenshot of when I make a change to NTSD and push okay.

I will say that I have customed my own Stylized units, but I did not change sizes or names. The stylized icons are added below, too, if you needed to look at them.

Again, this is not a major issue - I just wanted you guys to know it was happening.

Just FYI. They stopped working for me also an update or so ago. Just got used to the NATO ones again.

Had the same problem. Option was selectable in options, just no change. Only the default (NTDS-NATO) shows.

Hi, was having same issue and was able to fix thanks to Sunburn. Just need to make sure you have the "hosted_unit.png" in all symbols folders of command modern air naval operation and command wargame of the year edition. Think issue is due to the 2 folders and not changing the install folder when updating.

They do for me, but I had to exit the game first. But I seem to recall having to do that in earlier versions as well.

Same - I set the option to Stylized and then had to exit and re-start. It worked after that.

I can say that I don't ever remember having to exit and re-start in earlier iterations.

Ah, OK. Now I'm seeing that it does stick after a restart.

In earlier games (several versions ago, anyway) it would change immediately.
