Hi Hubert,

Please make it so i can also see which categories are being researched between all parties.

If you decide to allow viewing opposition research efforts/investments (not results), I would base it on Intel Tech Level.

Example:

If you have a +3 Intel level advantage (i.e. Allied Intel 4 vs Axis Intel 1) you can see the opposing sides investments in research.
If you have + a 2 Intel level advantage or less, you can not see the opposing sides investments in research.

Personally, I like the fact that the opponent's investments in research are hidden from the player. This allows players to surprise their opponent. Otherwise, investments are too easy to counter.

I agree with Edwin. We've never been able to see the enemy research levels, but if we were gong to allow it, I'd like a partial view based on intelligence level.

Sorry i meant between the currently visible parties. Not the opposing ones.
Just changing the text for the ones that have a chit in it should be enough.

Not a bad idea actually, perhaps an investment toggle? I'll add it to the list of things for down the road.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding as currently the table displays the development levels achieved for each category, so my thought was to display a second set of data that showed the investment levels per category via a toggle button. Or are you after something else?

Just knowing there is an investment would be enough since we can only invest max 2 chits mostly in this version of SC.
And it would be alot easier to code i'd recon. [:)]
I'm not really a fan of toggles. One click extra is one too many. [;)]

Ok let me think about it as having a slightly different colour might not be as obvious as to what that represents, whereas a toggle and an extra click might be worth the hassle for clarity for new players.

Could you use different color to show the research progress?
This green is greener than the famous Stone of Galveston.

I would like to suggest to use the national colors of each major power instead.

We experimented a bit on the green color and it was tricky to get the right colour to stand out and have the text stand out over top of it as well... I'll revisit it time permitting.

Ahhh... and now that it's been mentioned I really kinda want intelligence to slowly start showing AI tech levels when FOW is On - LOL. So many neat things to iterate on in this game. [:)]
