Hi peter, the good work go on...
When the soviet crew(same thing with other unit)wants to open fire against american unit, it can not because the DC of his officer blocking the process and block the game with an error message.

I don't understand, in the movement segment if the American unit moves then I can select the Russian Leader with the Crew and fire against the American unit that just moved. In the Russian defensive segment I was able to select Russian Leader with the Crew and fire against the American unit without any problems. You cannot select just the leader since the Leader does not have any inherent firepower, unless he has a support weapon - this is what the message box tells you "A Leader by himself cannot fire".

In this new file American human vs soviet AI the issue is in soviet defensive fire where the error message appears and the game is blocking.
