I like the fighting in the hinterland, shows active resistance. Did Norway form any Free Norwegian Allied units? That would be a nice touch. Good insights, Tussen Takk!

Norway did later form allied units, both as own units and integrated with allied units. I guess most soldiers where within units led by
Great Britain. Off course the Norwegian merchant fleet played a most important role during the hole WW2.

The Norwegian army capitulated 10 June 1940.

When it shows Baltic Sea it is referring to the Weather Zone, and the area in question is a bit too small to have its own unique Weather Zone (or Zones). So the name Baltic Sea reflects that the weather in this area will match that in the Baltic itself.

If not appropriate this area could be switched to being part of the same Weather Zone as the North Sea.

The event representing continuing Norwegian resistance after Oslo falls does have a game function in impeding German forces from being operated north to Narvik, so that if the Allies do decide on a landing at Narvik then they have a better chance of success than they might have done. It's still a gamble though!
