Playing 1940 Scenario, latest (pre Hot patch) update. Captured Paris 2 week July & 2/3 of France. 4 weeks later with Italy in the war, France has still not surrendered. What are the requirements for a French surrender?

Conquering Countries
A country will only surrender if their capital has been captured and if enough of their
current land forces have been destroyed. The nationality of the unit occupying the
surrendering country's capital determines who the country surrenders to, and they will
receive Plunder in MPPs providing the country surrenders by direct conquest rather than
by an in-game event.

Hit them hard and fast or they will taunt you a second time.
