Take em out for a test ride

I finished the final testing and tweaking on the military-multihex buildings this afternoon. I zipped the four Ter61zx.shp files and posted them here:
http://home.cfl.rr.com/lagoon/upload/Ter61_beta.ZIP
I dubbed them 'beta' since we plan to add some new icons before they're released. Please pass along any questions or comments: I did this for the designers out there, so let me know if you see places where improvements could be made.
Here are screenshots of all the structures (the red X's denote the center hex of each):

Sorry my silly question...but I'm not a scenario designer...
If I would like to play a scenario that use this icons I need to install this new ter61zx.shp files???
By the way...
wonderful icons!!!
Good work!

Tracer,
this is a beautiful job. Bravo
J wish to request you, if you can build a lighthouse.
Is it possible ? J hope yes.

I guess I could create a lighthouse, but it would probably be better to put it in the "single-hex stone building" file (1 hex = 50 yards/meters). I'll see what I can do.

Hi,
Keep up with the good work! I just would like to see hospitals with the red cross sign, it would be great for scenario purpouses..

Very nice work..I suspect some of the angled buildings could be used to make a large castle?

That's a great idea; I'll do that this weekend.

One thing I tried to do was make it possible to 'link' buildings together to form seemless city blocks. You can also get interesting results by overlapping some of the structures: place the icon, clear one or more of the hexes (except the center hex), and then place another building next to it. Most of the square/rectangular icons work best when using this technique.

A good idea my friend!:) Some time ago I did take the tent graphic from the Iconxxx.shp files (can´t remember icon number), added a red cross on top and reinserted it into the shp file. The original tent is used for the command post. I think this can be reused for making some kind of field hospital and then added to tracers file, although I think it needs to be put into one of the wooden building files (Ter26 or Ter82).
Before I forget,...we urgently need good looking ruined/rubbled buildings! You can´t make bombed out cities looking good with default Steel Panthers damage system and tiles used!

the 6 surrounding non center hexes of multi hex buildings need the File 26 and Shape 73 entered in S29 section of Inspection window to work properly, but tracers mentioned overlapping method is a nice workaround.

Wowwww!!!!....great

well, only as a sugestion I think that if you had a building with the roof in black and with the white circle with the red cross into it would have a nice view, I think this would fit better since it could be viewed from the air to avoid aerial attacks, just an ideia

The 'monument' was in the original icon...I'm not da Vinci.

that´s how I went with the field hospital! It´s easy, isn´t it?:) Going to look for the BMP file to send to tracer next time.
