Am I to assume that everytime a new patch comes out that I will have to make sure that my database that I have been working on has to be updated with the new database?

I'd advise keeping a backup and saving it as such every time you update your personal database. When 2.0.11.1 first came out, it wiped out my 2.0.10 databse. I've learned better since then.

If you are making or wanting no to use custom data you should make a copy of a user file and rename it to avoid overwrites.

That's not the question that I was trying to ask [:'(] I have always make a back up and the database I'm working on has a different name. The question was, is there changes in FPCS database when a patch comes out, that I have to make sure that the new data is in my database that I'm working on?
How will I know if you did any changes to the database?
While we are on database, I have found a problem, if you select, American or American User, AFV Single, Armored Car, you will get a F-4 Wild Weasel instead of an Armored car.

There are no armor cars in the data for the US and in the four odd years of developing and updating and playing no one caught this bug until last month after we sent in the release package. The armor car code conflicts with the aircraft and they get picked up since the code matches.
