[FIXED B870.4] v1.11 R6 submarines disappear

Hi,
i made a scenario few days before the release of the V1.11 R6 based on the CWDB. The scenario includes two submarines (#404 - S 641 Daphne and #360 - S 620 Agosta)on the player side, and two submarines on the computer side (#446 - S 311 Al Badr).
Since the release of the V1.11 R6, the player's submarines disappear few seconds after i press the Start/Resume button. It's not only visual, they are also removed from the oob of the player.
The computer's submarines stay.
I removed and re create the player's submarines but it's stil the same.
Any ideas ?

This may seem like an odd question, but does your scenario have any naval base facilities in it?

I am wondering if they are the wrong side. But without any scenario to look at, not going figure it out.

Just happened to me playing the Northern Fury 9.6 by Gunner98. I might be able to upload a save shortly, because it happened on all instances. Hang on.

Here, just saved after HMCS Onondaga dissapeared. I checked with the Editor and God's view, the sub just disappears.

It happened all the times I tried the scenario, but specially when ordered to periscope depth.

You don't have an autosave right before it happened do you.
If not...and it happens every time, can you save just before it happens and post.
I have played with the save and can't find anything wrong. I have moved the remaining sub around all over the place at all depths and nothing.

OK, I just downloaded 9.6 and saw the sub disappear. Checking if its an event or Lua command.

It appears to be any diesel sub that is at periscope depth for x amount of time. I suspect it has something to do with the logic around switching from battery to diesel. I can't make it happen with nuke subs.
I am going to do some more testing to see if I can narrow it down further.

The problem happened also even when not at periscope depth. I'll check the new build and see if the problem persists.

Well, it was the logic around battery/diesel switchover, so it had to be around that depth.

I'm reproducing the problem at 282 ft of depth, so perhaps there is something else (build 870.3).
I attach the autosave; if the sub continues on set course, it will disappear even without changing depth.

Because you said that it was a problem with the logic when switching from electric to batteries. I experienced the problem both when trying to get to periscope depth but also when running at -282 ft. Therefore, I would imagine that perhaps there was something else apart from the logic of switching from electric to batteries, and thus perhaps worth to have a second look.
I couldn't install 870.4, so I couldn't check if it was solved on this particular instance. I will try the update again.

Fixed for me on 870.4, great job!
PS: looks like there was some underwater mountain on my subs path and she had to come to periscope depth, that's when the sub dissappeared. With the time compresion I did not realize, thought she was riding at -282 ft the whole time [:-]
